The 2008 Sybase ANZ Partner Summit was held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Coolum, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, from May 1-2. Over 1 and a half days, delegates heard from Sybase speakers from around the world, including Snr VP & Chief Marketing Officer Dr Raj Nathan, on Sybase strategy and direction, and in detail on particular Sybase products. Several Sybase Partners also presented their story and experience with Sybase, for the benefit of fellow partner organisations.

Sybase Partner Geomatic Technologies worked with APEC Police Force to create a reporting solution using Sybase Afaria that automated paper-based processes, synchronised access to work schedules and up-to-date asset information, provided secure data transfer between command centre and police officers and resulted in significant time savings & improved efficiencies in a high pressure situation under international scrutiny.
